It took me ages to find something that I would want on my body forever but finally something came to me.
Now, on my left forearm, I have a tattoo of the ancient symbol for air. Though a triangle historically is a sign of male virility, this also has a deeper meaning for me and it comes from one of my favourite poems by Maya Angelou, ‘Still I Rise.’ I wanted to share it with all of you. Also, if you click the link below it will lead you to a video of Maya Angelou reciting her poem. She truly is an American treasure and a woman that I have the utmost respect for.
